Our Mission

Welcome to Mr. FurryPants.  We are constantly on the lookout for ways and gear to upgrade your/our lives.  It’s our mission to find the best of technology, home, business, fashion, food, drink, etc.  You name it, we’re on it.  Through our travels, experiences and obsessions, MFP strives to document ways to make you a better person – or at least one that others might actually want to be around.

Our goal is to connect people to resources they need to improve their lives and actual enjoy doing it.  Beyond just the gear and smartass quips, what follows in this site are simply observances, simple nuggets of truth, lore, guidance, and advice in an effort to build a community and propel the exchange of ideas.  However, we realized a long time ago that our readers are most likely much smarter than we are… so please share with us your thoughts and ideas along the way.

With an affinity for gear, tech and food, Mike hones his tech skills of infrastructure optimization at a Fortune 200 company in the midwest setting strategic direction and managing tier one UNIX servers, databases and platforms. When not sitting in front of a terminal session, Mike is the writer, editor and founder of Mr.FurryPants. General tech enthusiast, big fan of all things food and is most likely outside on a run or consuming beverages at elevation with his German Shepard, Loki.

Originating from unknown corners of the world, Loki is a lover of all things food, drink and Frisbee. When not killing his Frisbee or being the real Mr. FurryPants, Loki can be found on his favorite couch at MFP HQ helping determine MFP’s strategic direction, researching great gear and devising plans on surviving the zombie apocalypse.
